November Plans
1/11/23 16:59I'm trying to take some baby steps out of my comfort zone and not get to a stage where I'm scared to leave the house. It's very very easy to not walk out of the front door, but I don't want to end up a prisoner in here, no matter how comfortable it is. I also want to take some more steps towards making this place the comfy, cozy, hygge space of my dreams
So I've put together a list of things I can do in November, both in and out of the house, to help me with this which, in no particular order looks like:
I also have a little list of things I want to aim to cook/bake during the month:

So I've put together a list of things I can do in November, both in and out of the house, to help me with this which, in no particular order looks like:
- Start Christmas Shopping - get friends amazon/etsy lists, explore small businesses online and in town to find unique/fun/exciting presents.
- Put up fairy lights - SAD is a thing and the long, dark evenings/nights bring me down. I love to have a variety of different lighting options in my living spaces, and have ordered myself some bumper packs of fairy lights for my living room, my bedroom and my home office/study/book/chill room.
- Go to a bonfire/fireworks display
- A nice walk in the park, enjoying the colours of the season
- Invite friends over for a boardgames night
- Knit a cozy jumper or cardigan
- Go to the Christmas lights switch on
I also have a little list of things I want to aim to cook/bake during the month:
- Pumpkin pie
- Soups
- Stews
- Hot apple cider
- Apple crumble & custard
- Roast chicken & all the trimmings
